Net Promoter Score is a measure of customer loyalty which is measured by asking the question “How likely are you to recommend us to a colleague or friend?”” and is answered on a scale from 0 to 10. 0 is “not at all likely” and 10 is “extremely likely”


Those who answer 9 or 10 are called promoters and are like an ambassador for you. They will speak well of your service and recommend you to their friends.


Those who answer 0 to 6 are called detractors and are the opposite of ambassadors. They will speak badly of you and recommend their friends to use other companies.


Those who answer 7 or 8 are in between promoters and detractors and will neither recommend nor speak badly of you. 


It is measured between -100 and 100 and is calculated by subtracting the share of promoters with the share of detractors.
